For this project with Scholastic publishing, I combined lino print and handmade textures to create rich deep sea and land-based environments for the central character, Sidney, a carbon atom. The narrative was in concertina format and aimed at a 3-4 year old audience. I really enjoyed working on the flow and sequencing of the story as Sidney moved through the carbon cycle.
